Kiddies Star Finals

Finally found time to post last Saturday's event. Hooray! Anyway, instead of my usual Naruto Marathon weekend, I found myself doing a judging stint for LP Kiddies Star Finals instead. Tita Ding requested me to judge the kiddie pageant along with Ma'am Boladola and Mula Sa Puso's heartthrob JM De Guzman. In an attempt to lessen my all-consuming unproductive time doing nothing, I accepted the invitation.

It wasn't an easy job judging the contestants since they were all quirky, cute, and talented! It was definitely a showcase of talents and wit. At the end of the show, it looked like all three of us, the judges, had more or less the same choices...:)

After that, JM performed a song number for the audience..Hmmm..Judging by the looks of it, this was definitely something the crowd was waiting for all day.. I couldn't blame them though, JM is a really good singer unlike other local actors who try to sing but just doesn't have the talent at all. Aside from that, he's a real gentleman you see. At dinner, he was the one getting the food for my plate!..hmmm..(and i thought all gentlemen in the world were extinct..)

I want to thank the organizers and Lee Plaza for inviting me to judge this event. And thanks for the lovely gift, my new coffee canon lens mug! :)

A little love for Channing and Jenna

Hey guys! As you may have noticed, I have a new addition to my blog..I'm aware that I've already said this countless times before but I'll have to say it again for EMPHASIS...hehe.. I am a huge fan of Channing Tatum and of course his wifey, the lovely and talented choreographer Jenna Dewan (my number one dance diva idol of all time).

Both of them have really inspired me a lot hence Postallthelove was born! I got the name from Channing Tatum's small yet successful social media website Postthelove.com..Hmmm..it's pretty much like Twitter though it's powered by Typepad..Given the fact that I got the name from them, I wanted to show my gratitude by inviting others to also be a part of the PTL family. Plus, you can also follow Channing Tatum's account here.. In PTL, everyone gets the chance to show the world their love for just about anything! Even Channing himself gets close to his fans by replying back..:) He's such a doll! But that's when he's not so busy though..Word is that he's currently finished filming the comedy "21 Jump Street" alongside Jonah Hill and a cameo appearance by Johnny Depp. The movie hits theaters this March 16, 2012. As of late, he's now set to do another film titled "Magic Mike", an indie film in which he will also be working alongside Alex Pettyfer from "I am Number Four" and "Beastly". It is a story about friendship that took place in the world of exotic male dancing...and yes, inspired by Channing's early real life experiences as an exotic dancer..hehehe..:) I was surprised when I first knew about this..but I still came to respect Channing anyway regardless of what he did before..I mean, who are we kidding..Everyone,at some point in their lives, have had some ugly past right? We don't get to judge somebody according to what he was..but rather, how he came out to be after all that..:) Yes? Right..Nonetheless, that still does not stop me from enjoying his "exotic" moves..Below is a video of the young Channing before he started out his career..:) haha..:)

That was real treat! Hope you guys sign up at Postthelove.com..You can also see the link from my sidebar..:) See you soon! Right now, I'll be having a shut-eye before I head out to watch Naruto!! I've completely gone nuts over this! :D Bye for now!

Paraiso

I always say the best moments in life can be the ones that are unplanned. 7 hours earlier, the afternoon heat was unforgiving as usual so my sisters and I decided to take a breather from all the work we were caught up with and go for a swim somewhere..We brought little Dodongski with us since he loves the water so much he could be the next Percy Jackson..:) Needless to say, we had fun especially Dodongski.. After hours of non-stop swimming, his palms and soles got all pruned up..:)

What's your number?

Ready for a good laugh folks? Contrary to my previous post, this one's a comedy/chick flick..In this movie, we've got the comedy queen herself, Anna Faris opposite Captain America's Chris Evans. I've been dying to see Chris Evans in Captain America wherein he assumes a more serious role..But we all know he had us even before that. I loved him in Not Another Teen Movie, Fantastic Four and Cellular..He's also one of the voice actors of Robot Chicken (a stop motion animation with a demented twist<--that's according to IMDB)..A friend told me about Robot Chicken BTW and how hilarious it is..It parodies a lot of cartoons and shows. In 2007, it was the highest rated show in Adult Swim..In that case, i suppose it's really really funny then.. Well, I'm hoping to see it for myself soon!!..:)

Fright Night

Fright Night Part 3?! I don't know what to say..hmmm..it's been more than a decade since I've seen the last one..but I would be lying if I say I haven't been wanting to see it again..for old time's sake anyway..What can i say..Seeing the movie as a child has given me a fair share of nightmares..and I always love a good scare..hahaha..Now this new movie looks like it has been patterned with the previous story but I guess the only difference is that this time, the vampire is freaaaaaaaakkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn' HOOOOOT!!!  Weeeehoo! There's nobody else who's hotter than badboy Colin Farrell! Bite me Colin! I mean it...hahahaha!

Naruto Marathon

Too many times I've heard people talk about Naruto like he's the Japanese version of Superman--sans the red cape and huge biceps that is..:) I know many friends of mine to be true blue fans of the character and the story. They keep themselves updated with the latest episode or download Manga chapters on the net.

My brother-in-law and a brilliant computer engineer, Kuya Mitch, says he draws inspiration from Naruto. According to him, Naruto is a non-quitter. Despite the rough journey he has traversed and the many people trying to put his spirits down, he still manages to approach life through kindness--something I wish I'll have someday.

So is it too late for me to catch up? Hmm..Lucky for me, Sol (a walking movie and TV series guide) has everything I need to keep up with this anime series! Hoora! Hoora! Time to ditch sleep and pull on my all-nighters!
